Justice Karl Procaccini was honored to attend the annual Ramadan Iftar Dinner at the University of St. Thomas School of Law on Wednesday. The dinner was hosted by the University of St. Thomas Muslim Law Students Association, and the theme was "Justice and Islam." Prior to joining the bench, Justice Procaccini taught at the law school, and he has served as a mentor in the law school's externship program. Justice Procaccini is the first Muslim to serve on the Minnesota Supreme Court.
